To view product listing page, access the sidebar menu, select sales>product & services. Listing page will appear.

From the listing page, you can Create new product/ services.

Listing page will provide information about: Product, Description, Price and Action items.

Action items will have options for: View, Edit and Delete.

Products can be searched via name, description. Further, you will have an option to sort products in ‘a to z’ and ‘z to a’ order.

To make changes in product & service, access the sidebar menu, select sales>Product & Service>select the relevant product>Action items> edit

Product & services template will appear in editable format. Name, price, description, associated income ledger, sales tax etc all can be changed, provided the changed information will be retrospective i.e. invoices/estimates/recurring invoice already created with earlier information will not be replaced in order to maintain integrity of books of accounts.

Once all the changes are done, click save and a success message will appear, ‘Changes Saved’.

To delete a product, access the sidebar menu, select sales>product & services>select relevant product>actions items>delete

An alert message will appear with cancel & delete buttons. Click "Delete", and a success message will appear ‘Product deleted’.

A product can not be deleted, if it has been associated with any posting or non-posting transaction ever. You will get an alert message for the same, 'Product is associated with transactions, can not be deleted’.

To create a new product under sales module, access sidebar menu, select sales>Product & services>Create New Product/service.

Provide requisite details like: Name (mandatory), Select Income account from the dropdown (mandatory), Price, Description.

Select the sales tax applicable to this item. All existing sales tax will be available under the drop down and, an option will be provided to create new sale tax too. To add new sales tax, click on "Add sales tax". A popup will appear to Add sales tax. Fill in the details : Tax name and Tax rate (Mandatory), Description and Your tax number (Optional). Click on "Save" button, new sales tax will be added.

Click save. A success message will appear, ‘Product created’.

While adding a new product, you will be directed to fill the Name first then Income account. After filling all the details, click 'Save'. New product will be added.

To view a product, access the sidebar menu, select sales>product & services>select relevant product>actions items>view

After clicking on "View" button, you will be able to view all the details of the product created.

You can perform two actions from view page : Edit and Back

By clicking on "Back", you will be redirected to product and services listing page.

By clicking on "Edit", you will be able to edit the product. Product & services template will appear in editable format. Name, price, description, income account and sales tax all can be updated. Once all the changes are done, click save and a success message will appear, ‘Changes Saved’.
